Terms of Service

By booking an appointment, purchasing a service, or attending ELAN – Aesthetics. Skin. Wellness. ("ELAN"), you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the following Terms of Service.
 

1. About ELAN
ELAN is a professional aesthetics, skin and wellness clinic providing cosmetic treatments, medical-grade skin services and wellness consultations.
 

All treatments are performed in accordance with Australian medical, cosmetic and privacy regulations. Some treatments are considered medical procedures and may not be suitable for every individual. All treatments are performed following an appropriate consultation and clinical assessment.
 

2. Contact & Communication
Appointments are made through our online booking system.

General enquiries are responded to within approximately 24 business hours.
 

For urgent post-treatment concerns, clients must contact their treating Registered Nurse or Medical Practitioner using the emergency contact details provided.
 

3. Eligibility for Treatment

Clients must be 18 years or older to receive treatment.

ELAN reserves the right to refuse treatment where a procedure is considered unsuitable, unsafe or not in the client's best interests.

4. Consultations

Every appointment includes a professional consultation to ensure treatment is appropriate, safe and tailored to your goals.

Clients are never obligated to proceed with treatment following a consultation.

5. Medical Prescribing

Medical aesthetic procedures require consultation with an authorised prescriber.

A valid prescription is required before Schedule 4 medications can be administered.

Commencing a new treatment type may require a new consultation and prescription.

6. Consultation & Script Fees
Medical consultation/prescription fee: $30.

Prescriptions are generally valid for 12 months, unless otherwise advised.
 

7. Consultation Fee Refunds
Consultation fees may be refunded if:

• You decide not to proceed with treatment after your consultation.

• No treatment has been performed.

• No prescription medication has been prescribed, dispensed or ordered specifically for you.
   

Consultation fees are non-refundable if:

• A prescription has been issued.

• Prescription medication has been ordered or allocated specifically for you.

• Treatment has commenced.

• Your appointment is cancelled late, rescheduled outside the cancellation policy or missed.
   

8. Deposits
A deposit is required to secure all appointments.
 

Deposits may be forfeited if you:

• Cancel with less than 48 hours' notice.

• Reschedule with less than 48 hours' notice.

• Fail to attend your appointment.
   

9. Cancellations & Rescheduling
A minimum of 48 hours' notice is required for cancellations or appointment changes.

Late cancellations or rescheduling will result in deposit forfeiture.
 

Clients arriving more than 10 minutes late may have their appointment cancelled.

No-shows and same-day cancellations may incur the full appointment fee.

At ELAN's discretion, fees may be retained as non-refundable clinic credit.
 

10. Payments & Refunds

Treatment fees are payable in full on the day of treatment.

Injectable pricing is discussed during consultation in accordance with TGA advertising regulations.

Once treatment has commenced, refunds are not available.

Packages, memberships and prepaid services are non-refundable, including unused portions.

Change-of-mind refunds are not offered.

Your rights under Australian Consumer Law remain protected.

11. Buy Now, Pay Later

Third-party payment providers (such as Afterpay) may incur a surcharge. Any surcharge will be disclosed before payment.

12. Pricing & Promotions
Injectable pricing depends on the amount of product used and the clinical assessment on the day.

Membership pricing applies only to eligible services and products.

Discounts cannot be combined with promotions, sale items or packages unless otherwise stated.

 

13. Treatment Results
Individual results vary.

Results are influenced by factors including:

• Anatomy

• Age

• Skin quality

• Genetics

• Lifestyle

• Metabolism

• Aftercare compliance
   

Multiple treatments may be required to achieve or maintain desired results.

ELAN cannot guarantee specific outcomes.
 

Certain medications and lifestyle factors may alter treatment effectiveness or longevity, including:

• GLP-1 medications

• Weight-loss medications

• Amphetamine or stimulant medications

• Hormonal medications

• Prescription medications

• Over-the-counter medications

Smoking and nicotine use (including vaping) may reduce treatment longevity, impair healing and affect results.

Clients must disclose all medications, supplements and relevant lifestyle factors before treatment.

14. Health Information
Clients are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date information regarding:

• Medical conditions

• Current medications

• Allergies

• Previous cosmetic treatments

• Pregnancy or breastfeeding status
   

Failure to disclose relevant information may increase the risk of complications.
 

15. When We May Decline Treatment
Treatment may be postponed or declined if you are:
 

• Pregnant or breastfeeding

• Experiencing an illness, infection or cold sore

• Medically unsuitable on the day

• Unable to provide informed consent

• Presenting with contraindications
   

ELAN reserves the right to decline treatment at any time if treatment is considered unsafe, unethical or not in the client's best interests.
 

Medical clearance may be requested where appropriate.
 

16. Follow-Up & Reviews
Anti-Wrinkle Treatments: A complimentary review appointment is generally offered 2 weeks after treatment. Complimentary adjustments (top-ups) are provided only when clinically indicated. Complimentary adjustments are only performed during the scheduled review period.
 

New Clients: All new anti-wrinkle clients will be booked into their 2-week review appointment before leaving their initial treatment appointment. This appointment is reserved specifically for you.
 

Failure to attend your scheduled review without appropriate notice will incur a $50 no-show fee.

As this appointment has been reserved exclusively for you, repeated non-attendance may affect future bookings.

Failure to attend your review will result in the forfeiture of any complimentary adjustment you may have been clinically eligible to receive.
 

Existing Clients: Existing anti-wrinkle clients will receive an SMS reminder to book their review.
 

Reviews must be attended between 2 and 3 weeks following treatment.

If you choose not to book or attend your review within this timeframe, you will not be eligible for a complimentary adjustment.
 

17. Dermal Fillers
Dermal filler treatments do not include complimentary top-ups unless expressly stated in writing.

18. Products & Prescribed Medications
Prescription product brand names cannot be publicly advertised under Australian regulations.

Prescription medications purchased for treatment must be used at the scheduled appointment.

Prescription medications cannot be stored or transferred to future appointments.

​

19. Emergency Care
Emergency management for suspected vascular occlusion, including Hyalase where clinically indicated, is provided at no additional cost.

20. Privacy
ELAN complies with the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).

​

Your personal and health information is used only for:

• Clinical care

• Appointment management

• Legal and regulatory compliance
   

Information is only shared with your consent or where required by law.
 

21. Voluntary Treatment
All cosmetic and wellness treatments are elective.

By proceeding, you acknowledge that treatment is voluntary.

22. Gift Vouchers
Gift vouchers are:

• Non-refundable

• Not redeemable for cash

• Valid until the expiry date shown

• Invalid after expiry
   

23. Limitation of Responsibility
All cosmetic and medical procedures carry inherent risks.

ELAN provides treatment using appropriate clinical care and professional judgement.

By proceeding with treatment, you acknowledge these risks and accept responsibility for your decision to undergo treatment.

24. Updates to These Terms
ELAN may update these Terms of Service from time to time.

The latest version published by ELAN replaces all previous versions and takes effect immediately upon publication.
